Kaohsiung is a wonderful city with friendly people . The staff at the hotel were friendly too.
Decent Chinese breakfast The room was comfortable for 2 people . Sheets and towels were changed every day. Staff was courteous and friendly. Hotel was close to MRT(Formosa Boulevard) and the hotel was close to the exotic Liouhe Night Market. 2 Free bottled water was provided daily.
Some of the amenities could be spruced up - bath tub , basin, commode - it was not grotty but it did show its age.

Friendly staff and good location
Location is great and the staff are really nice. I’ve stayed here a few times.
Plumbing was a bit noisy and there aren’t many tv channels. Nothing that would ruin a visit though.

Great location - next to Liuhe Night Market. Friendly staff.
Beds were a bit hard. Room small. Check-in staff couldn't find our reservation. Only checked us in when we showed our copy of the Booking.com confirmation.

Good service, but the breakfast needs some improvement
The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Although I think they should be more flexible. For example, I wanted to change my booking options and I was not allowed despite that I was willing to pay for the changes. I was told that the change should be made in the Booking app that I used to book the room first, otherwise there's nothing they could do.
The food was very boring. There was little or close to no vegetarian breakfast options. There was not much varieties in general.
